patiently waiting...

wow..I'm not sure how this thing works. I'm not use to blogging at all, but I'm ready to give this a try.
So..as for our band AGAINST THE SEASON, our bro, Mika (guitarist) had a heart attack on June 22nd 2009. It was CRAZY because he's only 25 years old. He's never had any heart problems and has always been healthy. He had to have surgery due to blood clots that formed in his artery's. He made it out of surgery alright, and is currently recovering from it all.
Its a definite WAKE UP call for our group since we are siblings. It makes me look at life in a new light..I appreciate it more! Its just like HOW THE FRICK DID THAT HAPPEN?! I guess only the lord knows and he gives us these things to make us strong and to bring out the BEST in us....how cheesy does that sound!? But I believe in it 100%. Anyways I know we've been a bit out of the loop (ATS)..we cancelled most of the recent shows coming up so that he can recover, but if anything I am really excited for the new stuff we've been writing. I'm getting inspiration from out of no where, and its definitely motivating. Although we're at a stand still with Mika's recovery, we'll be back in action as soon as he gets better! as for now..we'll be patiently waiting.....
